A "Different Trend"

In a world ever changing it seems like the local fashion scene is going through a crisis, is everyone into a "different trend"? Now let me break down the meaning of a trend. A trend is a certain type of dress that last longer then a month, everyone is doing it, its cute but can become annoying. In other post I stated how i hate trends which  i do but they are actually a help to those who can not find themselves lol. Now let me break down what i mean by a "different trend''. The thing in 2013 is to able to stand out from the crowd which in turn causes being "different"  to become a trend because EVERYONE is doing it. Its trendy to go to thrift shops and salvation armies thanks to Macklemore and his "20 dollars in his pocket" now because of all the hype around being "different" these stores have up the prices on their donated clothes lol. In the end everyone still looks the same because everyone is trying to be different, everyone is shopping at the same places seeing the same clothes it becomes a false since of individuality. it seems like u have to go back in fashion time at least 50 yrs just to avoid this "different trend"
